Camping At The Lake

Hey everyone,

I took a little camping trip this last weekend up to Wrightwood with three of my closest friends and while it wasn’t’ the most remote campground and the “lake” was a little Balboa Parkish, it was still a great time. We got to sleep under the stars, have some drinks by the water and BBQ a ton of delicious, extremely unhealthy food and I couldn’t ask for a better time with better people. I took just a few shots during the trip and wanted to share some of them with you guys so take a look and enjoy!

Yosemite

So I recently got to go on an amazing trip up to Yosemite with some of my best friends and it really was an unbelievable experience. Even though the weather didn’t totally cooperate (one of the tents flooded) it was incredible and I wouldn’t change a thing. I hadn’t been up there since I was really little so it was so great to go see and hike some of the most beautiful scenery in the country and who doesn’t love cooking s’mores over the fire? It was raining a fair amount of the time so I didn’t get as many photos as I wanted to but there’s a few here for you guys to check out and I hope you like them.

This really was an amazing trip and it’s insane how beautiful it is out there. Camping is definitely my new thing and I’ve already got another trip planned for August. It’s going to be a great summer!

My Mom

This is quick, late Mother’s day post dedicated to the most incredible person I’ve ever known, my mom.

Mother’s Day was a lot of fun for the Fairless household this year; we went down to Santa Monica and cruised the 3rd St. Promenade for a while, then had dinner over at Bubba Gumps. A day at the beach is always good and thankfully the weather cleared up nicely too. Anyways, it was a great day and I seriously couldn’t ask for a better mother, I’m so thankful for her! I hope all of your weekends were just as good!

Lunch

It’s another gorgeous day out here in Pasadena so I decided to walk to lunch and I brought my camera with me. I really love the area out here and I can’t wait to move out this way soon; even just walking down the street for lunch I saw some great stuff. Pasadena’s a beautiful city and there’s some really cool architecture all around. It’s a really nice break from the valley.

Here’s just a couple quick shots for you guys and, just in case you were wondering, Gogo Sushi on Colorado is amazing. Enjoy!

Jr. Olympic Swim Championships

Hey guys,

So it’s been forever since I’ve posted, again, and I’m sure you’ve all moved on, gotten married and had children and grandchildren by now. But I did get around to updating and this one is pretty cool. I was lucky enough to get in contact with a small company called SuperSports Photography a couple weeks ago and I got to go shoot the Jr. Olympic Swim Championships for them out in Mission Viejo! The event was crazy and a ton of fun to shoot! I’ve never photographed a swim meet before and it was definitely challenging but I got a few that I was pretty surprised by so I thought I’d post them up for you all. Surprise Birthday!! ..Plus some others

Hey everybody,

So there was a very special birthday a few days ago and there was no way that we were going to let it go uncelebrated.  There was a surprise birthday at BJ’s complete with friends, flowers and plenty of drinks.  I brought my camera along and here are just a few pics from the night, plus some other random ones. Thanks so much to all those who came out and helped us celebrate this special day, it was a great night!!
